作为德国北部最大的研究和高等教育机构，汉堡大学将多样化教学与出色的科研相结合，在读学生人数超过四万，是德国第三大高校。

We invite you to take part in the PhD Workshop China 2017 in Shanghai and/or Peking and meet our representatives personally!

As
the largest research and educational institution in northern Germany,
Universität Hamburg combines a diverse curriculum with outstanding
research. With its more than 40,000 students, it is Germany’s
third-largest university.

The
Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences (MIN)
comprises the Departments of Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science,
Informatics, Mathematics, and Physics. Around 9,000 students, of which
1,500 are doctoral students and 1,800 trainee teachers, are taught and
supervised by over 200 professors and 370 postdoctoral research
assistants.

PhD Workshop China

The
Vice Dean for Internationalization and Support for Young Researchers
Professor Ingenuin Gasser will represent the MIN Faculty. The scientist
Dr. Guoqing Chang (DESY, center for Free Electron Laser) will represent
the PIER Helmholtz Graduate School. Prof. Dr. Gasser and Dr. Chang will
provide on-site counselling and informative briefings related to the
topic "Taking a doctorate at the MIN Faculty and at PHGS". 

In
order to have the opportunity to meet with Prof. Gasser and Dr. Chang
personally during the PhD Workshop in Peking and/or Shanghai and to
attend their presentations on the topic: "Taking a doctorate at the MIN Faculty and at PHGS, Universität Hamburg, Germany".
